How to merge PDF files and put pages in the right order

By Yadraj Meena · Updated 9 October 2026 · 3 min read

Portals often ask for “all documents in a single PDF”. Merging takes a few seconds, and you can choose exactly which pages go in.

Merge several files

  1. Open Merge PDFs and drop all the files at once, or add them one by one.
  2. Drag the handle on each row to set the order, for example application form first, then certificates.
  3. To take only some pages from a file, type them in the “Pages” box, such as 1-2 or 1,3,5. Leave it empty to include the whole file.
  4. Press Merge PDFs and download the result.

Fine-tune the result

After merging, tap Use in another tool to pass the file straight to the next step without downloading it. A common chain is Merge → Organize pages (to rotate a sideways scan or delete a blank page) → Page numbers → Compress PDF.

Photos instead of PDFs?

If some documents are phone photos, convert them first with Images to PDF, then merge.

Pricing

Results of up to 5 pages are always free. Bigger merged files cost ₹2 each, or you can use the monthly pass.
